The innocent man by John Grisham

This book is a clear step away from his usual writing. Main reason for that is the fact it is a true story. A sad story about the lack of justice in the small town of Ada, Oklahoma.

A young cocktail waitress gets brutally murdered and raped, the investigation turns up very few good leads, in reality none. This is in the year of 1982, DNA testing has not yet been discovered. The only solid evidence are some hairs found on and around the body, and a bloody palm print on the wall.

After a long time of investigation and hitting the wall a name comes up. Ron Williamson, a has been baseball player that never made it into the major leagues. Booze, drugs and women got the better of him, so now he lives in his old boys room at his mothers place. With him being the odd figure in the society the police quickly decides he’s the guilty one, now they just have to prove it…

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

Okey so this is the last book in the Harry Potter series. However i did read Harry Potter and the half blood prince aswell. I was rather glad that i read them one after the other. Although i am just gonna write about Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

This I found was another really exciting and well written book just like all the others in the Harry Potter series. I found i really did struggle to put the book down, it really got me into the plot and the characters as always.

The Simpsons movie

The Simpsons is a very good movie. I think that a lot will enjoy it especially if you love the TV shows then the movie is a must buy. It is one of the few dvd movies i own.

It has a good plot to the movie aswell about the environment and pollution. Basically Springfield is so polluted that the government put a dome over the top of the town to stop the pollution getting out. The residents then find out that its all Homer’s fault so they come after him and the rest of his family.

Pirates of the Carribean 3 – At worlds end

Pirates of the Carribean - At worlds endMe and my boyfriend borrowed the DVD from my sister and watched it yesterday after our guests had left us.

It was a lot better then the second of the pirates movies. It still has that element of myth and fantasy but it does not seem as unrealistic as I thought it was in the second one. If you haven’t seen the other pirates of the Caribbean movies, there’s very little meaning in watching this one right now. They are all tied together, and to be able to understand the story fully, you need to watch them all.

I recommend you don’t read further right now if you haven’t yet watched the two earlier movies. There might be a spoiler in the text as I have a feeling I’ll be referring a bit to the earlier movies to explain the story line shortly.

Twas the night

So anyways on Friday night my daughter and I sat down with a pot noodle to watch this film (God my pot noodle was spicy though lol).

The plot of the film was about a family Mam,Dad and 3 kids and their uncle who showed up on their doorstep on christmas eve,the uncle was a thief. Anyways it’s christmas eve and Santa’s reindeer are all down with flu so he is useing a computer to drive his sleigh. The computer was making Santas sleigh go out of control. Santa crash lands at the family’s house. He freezes the uncle and oldest son so he can sneak down with their pressies. But then the Son and the uncle become unfrozen and they see Santa. Santa has an special bauble which shrinks stuff. So the uncle and the Son have a bit of a fight with Santa, Santa hits his head on the fireplace and gets knocked out, the son gets the bauble and accidently shrinks his Uncle. Then the uncle decides to take Santas sleigh and “help” him out.
